Description:
This exhibit describes
the use of symbolism and slogans used during World
War II in posters and artwork. Posters, photos,
and letters are included in this presentation and
are backed with Velcro ™ for ease of individual
or small group work. Activities included are letter
writing to soldiers, creating posters, evaluating
posters and photographs, and designing pamphlets,
with the use of Microsoft Publisher, to encourage
people to help with the war effort. An assortment
of related themed high elementary/middle school
level books is included with this exhibit. |
